Day 11:I am thankful for having opportunities to give service.
I see service as a major part of our learning. I try to have some type of service project going on in our home and I try to give my children experiences when they can feel the spirit of service and see the difference it can make in other lives.
What is interesting to me, is that the little kinds of service are sometimes overlooked and people don't realize what an impact something like a smile or a kind hello can have on a person. There is a scripture that says:
The best reward for service is in seeing the love your children have for others. As Bugaloo said, "Mom, I feel really good inside."
